Hillary Clinton took to Twitter on Wednesday to reiterate for the second time in 24 hours that President Trump is not in fact a “real president.”

The former Secretary of State stressed during her endorsement of Joseph R. Biden on Tuesday that Mr. Trump is, for all intents and purposes, an illusory commander in chief who acts for television. She made the quip moments after being reminded of her 2016 loss.

Mrs. Clinton shared that sentiment again Wednesday with her 27.6 million Twitter followers.

“Think about what a difference it would make if we had a real president, not just one who played one on TV,” she wrote.

Roughly 24 hours earlier Mr. Biden had lamented Mrs. Clinton’s loss to Mr. Trump by saying the following: “I wish this were us doing this and my supporting your reelection for president of the United States. You won the majority of the vote.”

Mrs. Clinton told Variety magazine at the Sundance Film Festival in January that she often felt an “urge” to take on Mr. Trump again because “I feel the 2016 election was a really odd time and an odd outcome. And the more we learn, the more that seems to be the case.”

She also told the women of ABC’s “The View” in October 2019 that her electoral fortune may have been different if people realized how “fun” she is face-to-face.

“It was devastating as it was, I know, for the McCain family and your family [with Jon Huntsman in 2012],” she told the show’s co-hosts. “I’m a serious person but I’m also a fun person, but I think I probably came across as too serious. … I may have over-corrected a little bit because sometimes people say, well why can’t you be like that or why weren’t you like that.”
